In early 2007, We really started reading food labels and all the ingredients listed on a variety of food products. Most everything contained one or more of the following; additives, preservatives, flavor enhancers or MSG. We developed a few seasoning blends in the kitchen and gave them to friends and family as gifts. Our dedicated friends and family encouraged us to develop and create alternative, “all natural” Marinades, Seasonings and Dips that they could continually enjoy!

Today, all of The Zesty Moose products are created for busy families, for those who love to cook, and for anyone who desires an aide in getting started! Just add a few fresh ingredients to our delicious blends and begin to take your eating experience to a unique level of exquisite enjoyment!

For four years now, we have been refining recipes, creating and enhancing a variety of new blends that will be added this year. Gourmet sea salts, bread dipping oil blends and finishing butter mixes will be a continuous addition to our existing product line. All of our selections are designed so that you control the flavor in the way you like by either using less of the mix or by adding additional ingredients in a recipe to adjust the level of heat. Also, most of our products are zesty, meaning full of flavor and not necessarily always hot! All of our products are designed with simplicity in mind, and can be used in a variety of ways. Many of our fine selections include enough in the package to create a dip(s), a marinade for chicken, pork or beef and/or a seasoning.

The Zesty Moose products are now being sold in several stores and is successfully growing with the help of dedicated customers who support us at various festivals, shows and tastings everywhere! Our ideas are inspired from the many places we have visited, during quiet times over a cup of coffee, and while enjoying savoring dishes and beautiful sunsets! Often times, these ideas are scribbled on a folded napkin or come to life by inspirations in the middle of the night.
